about

Mezzo is a short piece of music exploring similarities between synthesized human voice elements and digitally generated wave forms. The repeating human voice is created with Cantor, a vocal synthesizer program that builds intonation on assigned note values. It's matched with a number of software synthesizers and Lexicon reverb algorithms to create different overtones reminiscent of room acoustics. It might be the soundtrack to a robot's idea of what heaven sounds like.
